The Opulence blends four natural fibres—cashmere, alpaca, bamboo, and mulberry silk—across a triple-nested spring architecture to create a sleep surface that is both indulgently soft and thermally precise. Mulberry silk and bamboo sit closest to the ticking to wick moisture and move heat away from the body, while cashmere and alpaca add a fine loft that cushions the shoulder and hip. A layer of Austrian hand-opened long strand Moosburger® horsetail provides springback and resilience, preventing the surface from sinking under sustained pressure. Real Shetland Wool and cotton deepen thermal mass and absorb movement, building a stable foundation for restful slumber.
The three-layer hand-nested vanadium steel pocket spring system houses 3,366 independently responding springs in a King size, mapping closely to the body's contours without transferring motion across the surface. Six rows of hand side-stitching along the border lock the springs to the edge for consistent support from center to perimeter. Hand-tufting with woollen tufts and twine stabilises the upholstery layers, preserving filling distribution over the life of the mattress and limiting migration over time.
